  • Photo Restoration / Preservation fees are based on the number of hours required to complete the work. Our price quotes represent an honest estimate of the amount of work involved to obtain the best possible results.
  • All Restoration & Preservation Repairs can receive, free with quote, images on non-copyright C/D for your personal use and distribution. Ask us about details.
  • Our rates are surprisingly reasonable, e-mail us a sample picture you might require work performed on & we will send a reply Please enclose your City & postal/Zip code so we can calculate shipping. Include your area code and phone number if you have any special instructions and would like a call.
  • Minimum Restoration: starting at $35.00
  • Images do not have any major defects but are simply suffering from some fading and discolorations from light or age and maybe a few small scratches and blemishes. Crop or enlarge images.
  • Some indicators are
    Fading : Slight and even fade
    Increase clarity and contrast
    Color Cast : Minor and even color casts (typically a yellowish cast)
    Blemishes, Spots & Wrinkles : Few and small, not covering important features
  • Stage 2 Restoration

  • Stage 2 images have significantly faded tones and colors and maybe some larger scratches and blemishes. No major damage to important image elements. Does not require "cloning" of areas from other photos.
  • Some indicators are;
  • Fading : Significant and somewhat uneven fading but still a good recognizable image throughout
  • Color Cast : Heavy color cast with minor variations

  • Blemishes, Spots & adjustment of images : Many small to medium spots and blemishes, tape residue on background, remove extra bulk
  • Cuts &Tears : Minor clean cuts and tears
  • Stage 3 Restoration

  • Stage 3 images may be very faded, have many spots and tears partially covering important image elements. Irregular fade or color cast. Some background may be completely missing. Does not require "cloning" of areas from other photos.
  • Some indicators are
  • Fading :Heavy and/or very uneven fading. Important parts of image recognizable by the naked eye.
  • Color Cast : Heavy color cast and/or major variations in color cast and fading across image
  • Blemishes & Spots : Many medium to large spots and blemishes partially covering important foreground elements
  • Cuts &Tears : Several or irregular cuts and tears partially covering important foreground elements
  • Missing Parts : Small parts along a tear, corner or on background. All major parts of photo is available in one or a few pieces
  • Stage 4 Restoration

  • Category IV images are like category III images with the extra challenges listed below. They may require "cloning" of areas from other photos or reconstruction of some areas from scratch
  • Some indicators are
  • Blemishes & Spots : Many medium to large spots and blemishes partially or fully covering important foreground objects, major tape residue on important foreground elements
  • Cuts &Tears : Irregular, wide cuts and tears with missing parts of image partially or fully covering important foreground elements
  • Missing Parts : Major foreground or complex background elements missing which requires reconstruction from another related photo (like a face) or from scratch (like a fence, a vase of flowers, a book held in the hands, etc.). Photo may be in several pieces with some parts totally missing
  • Add Additional Parts : Add an extra person or object

Payment Options

  • - Paying online by credit card using Pay Pal funds makes for the fastest turnaround time
  • - Once you have approved the final proof of the work you want done for the pre-approved price that was agreed upon and the money has been received, we will complete our agreement.
